Director
Founded in 2004 and directed by Curtis MacKirdy, CMK Architects is a small architectural practice delivering big design projects.
After graduating in 1992, Curtis has had extensive architectural experience, with over 30 years in the industry, first gaining exposure as the principal designer with BPSM Architects, then Chester Bullock and Associates before establishing CMK Architects.

How We Work
We focus on a practical approach to design, offering functional solutions while delivering value for money. Every decision is grounded in purpose.
Our first goal is to ascertain the exact needs of the client and respond to site conditions, climate and context to deliver the best outcome.
We utilise CAD software as both a 2D drafting tool and 3D design tool, enabling the team to communicate ideas with clients through real-time models.
